Aquaculture Trail.

This truly unique
experience, believed to be the only one of its
type in Australia, showcases seafood,
aquaculture and dining experiences of the
region. Highlights include southern bluefin
tuna, abalone, oyster, prawns,
scallops and murray cod being farmed and
processed.
Observe southern Bluefin tuna that can be worth
as much as $5,000 a fish, the prized King George
whiting easy to find and catch here.
Tastings of oysters, a variety of smoked and
pickled fish/shellfish and opportunities to
purchase a fresh ocean catch after the tour.

The seafood
industry is a key economic factor for Eyre
Peninsula as it produces over 65% of the State's
seafood and employs directly and indirectly over 1,800
people.
There are ten tours available on the Seafood & Aquaculture Trail stretching
from Whyalla to Ceduna along the pristine
coastline of Eyre Peninsula.
